Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is one of at least 113 cannabinoids identified in cannabis. THC is the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis. It is the element that is related to giving the “high” & altering one’s perception.

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is another of the identified compounds in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. CBD does not have mind-altering effects like THC. CBD is used mainly for medicinal and therapeutic purposes. CBD is still being studied but there is already clear evidence of its benefits for treating pain, inflammation and stabilizing patients with Parkinson’s Disease and seizures. It also relieves stress, depression and anxiety, though each strain will have different and specific effects
